Founded in 1968, Lek Lim Nonya Cake is a traditional Singaporean kueh-confectionary known for delicious local traditional snacks. Over the years, the business grew to a full-fledged central kitchen, retail outlet & created a frozen RTE local traditional snacks range.
Today, we continue to preserve our Strait-Chinese founder’s recipes & techniques combined with latest food technologies for everyone around the world to enjoy.
**Assistant Food Technologist**
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Food Technologist to join our R&D department. You will gain broad experience and will be able to work in a fun fast-paced environment with a broad scope to develop.
This position will report directly to the Food Technologist.
This position will be instrumental in driving & ensuring excellence in production, QA processes & product innovation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in R&D projects & production planning
- Ensure product is in accordance to regulation & standard, compliance with legislation & certification
- Conduct shelf life studies, production process & troubleshooting issues by providing technical solution support
- Implement & manage food safety ISO22000 & quality assurance program in production kitchen
- Perform ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor
**Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in food science, food technology or equivalent
- Excellent multitasking skills & able to work under pressure
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge in HACCP, ISO22000 & GMP requirement will be an advantage
