The Business Planning and Operations team delivers against two functional pillars, namely 1. Core Operations (e.g. metrics data management, program implementation and governance) and 2. Knowledge & Implementation (e.g. rolling out program and tools to the Group’s operating countries, education and training activities)

Key activities include leading the development of KPIs for the organization, overseeing the annual goal setting process across the Group and ensuring that timelines are adhered to with Regional and Country stakeholders’ most pertinent needs considered. This team partners stakeholders to advocate, manage and support the use of data to drive objective performance conversations at every level of the organization.

This person will lead a team and report to the Head of Strategy and Planning, communicating a shared vision with cross-functional leaders within the Group to achieve group-wide organisational alignment through strong internal planning processes. He/she will have excellent program execution skills with due consideration for change management and an ability to communicate complex information in simple ways. Prior experience supporting stakeholders and quickly building relationships with cross-functional partners, teammates and reports will be critical to this role’s success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage annual goal setting process across the Group, with a focus on translating strategic goals into tactical and operational objectives across the organisation to individual teams and employees
- Partner with key stakeholders such as Business Intelligence on data warehousing and management activities, metrics monitoring, reporting and improvement initiatives.
- Oversee key governance activities such as in-year reviews/ audits on goals and metrics to ensure program relevance and integrity
- Establish new workflows, policies and guidelines within the Program and maintain internal knowledge databases
- Oversee engagement activities related to the Program
- Advocate and engage with employee teams through various communication platforms on the usage of Goals as a management tool
- Work with Country Heads to set up operational ecosystems (structures, roles, processes) to support program delivery across the Group

**Requirement**:

- Minimally a Bachelors Degree from a reputable university with 5 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years should be in a team leading role to at least 3 individuals
- Experience in running/participating in multiple large-scale projects/ workstreams concurrently
- Experience in metrics design and implementation across teams/ organisation will be advantageous
- Comfortable being hands on & rolling up sleeves to get the work done.
- To be detail-oriented and have a keen eye for process inefficiencies and a desire to solve it
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, intellectual curiosity, and drive. Able to proactively identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to address them
- Experience building and managing relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including experience in presenting business content to senior stakeholders, peers and general audiences
- An effective communicator who is able to drive change management & training initiatives
