If the answer is "yes", join us at the Founders' Memorial **[What you will be working on]** - Community Engagement: Develop and implement community engagement strategies to attract diverse audiences, focusing on (but not limited to) fostering inter-generational, foreign-local, and inter-ethnic interactions within the museum/garden setting. - Programme Development: Curate and organize community programmes, events, and workshops that facilitate meaningful interactions and dialogue between diverse individuals across different communities. - Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organisations, schools, and other stakeholders, recognizing them as key collaborators in the development and execution of community programmes. - Community Outreach: Design and oversee community-centric initiatives and activities that promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation, catering to visitors of all ages and backgrounds. - Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of community programmes, gather feedback, and prepare reports to assess the impact and success of the initiatives. - Budget Management: Monitor and track budget utilisation of assigned programmes and prepare reports for proper accountability of funds and resources. **[What we are looking for]** - Background in relevant field (s) - At least 3 years of experience in in community programming, event management, or cultural outreach, preferably in a museum, garden or exhibition setting, with a demonstrated focus on interactions that cater to a diverse range of audience profile. - An interest in local history, particularly that of the pre - and post - Independence decades and/or experience with culture/heritage/arts sector-related work is preferred, though not mandatory - Strong understanding of audience development and community engagement strategies, particularly in the context of fostering cross-cultural interactions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups and key stakeholders. - Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and inclusive programmes that promote intercultural dialogue and understanding. - Proficiency in project management and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Familiarity with evaluation methods and reporting techniques to measure the impact of community programs, with a specific emphasis on the targeted interactions
