**Job Purpose**

The Assistant Vice President (Trade Compliance) will help deliver/steer our trade vision under Trade Compliance Group business unit in Asia/Europe/North America. You will combine domain knowledge, industry understanding and experience in leveraging technologically advanced tools to simplify trade compliance process, mitigate risk and reduce operational cost for our customers.

You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in dynamic environments. Being effective communicator and confident team player, you will work closely with our clients, internal domain experts on global trade fulfilment, our Solutions team, Business Services team, Engineering, and Data Scientists to develop and improve our product experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Continue to extend vision, strategy, and roadmap for Trade Compliance offerings
- Maintain an up-to-date competitive market landscape detailing market opportunity, target users, and associated product strategy
- Collaborate with various product teams to ensure execution in support of your strategy
- Spearhead the development roadmap of global trade management platform to improve efficiency and cost reduction in trade compliance across our customers and network of service partners
- Share and align your strategy, provide consultation across the greater Product team
- Provide deep insight advisory in the creation of collateral and sales tools such as articles, datasheets, white papers, blogs, how-to videos, demos, etc
- Management of relations with international, regional and local trade and customs authorities. Champion the free-trade agreements, special programs, and transactional structuring
- Proactively managing the risks of global trade, improving international trade compliance and increasing the operational effectiveness of trade fulfilment

**Minimum Education/ Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or Supply Chain

**Minimum Years of Experience/ Key Attributes and Skills**
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in consulting in trade compliance or customs clearance operations. Preferably with 3 years of freight forwarding experience.
- Interest in developing as a Global Trade Compliance professional and motivate to acquire knowledge
- Business driven sense of ownership of the success of the product with full accountability of your strategy and desired outcomes.
- Passion for technology and digital transformation to constantly improving and creating new values in trade compliance
- Excellent analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy. Ability to manage across functions and business units and influence others while working independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication, written and organizational skills. Ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.
- Positive working attitude and motivation to perform under pressure or opposition
- Willingness to travel
