What You Will Achieve

Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing and modifying process formulations, methods and controls to meet desired quality standards. Your production engineering skills will help in recommending and implementing improvements, modifications or additions that will help in solving problems. You will review product requirements in terms of product development compatibility and help Pfizer determine optimum costs and schedules of production.

As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. It is your domain knowledge, commitment, collaboration and dedication that will help us achieve new milestones and patients across the globe.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will serve as a member of the Technical Services team that will provide analytical chemistry and process related technical support to OSP, Changeover cleaning, Solvent recovery sections.
- Perform chemical analysis using analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UPLC, Karl Fisher, etc
- Set up test equipment in the lab to as per procedures.
- Perform equipment troubleshooting where required.
- Compile and record data for documentation as per GDP needed for testing and report preparation.
- Analyse and interpret test data
- Provide direct manufacturing support as required during product start-ups and process modifications.
- Work with Process Engineers in troubleshooting all manufacturing problems and upsets.
- Work with Quality Control to develop the necessary documentation in support of any production changes or abnormal process operations to assure that all products meet all Pfizer and regulatory quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory chemical inventory and consumables.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in the laboratory activities.
- Write/update standard laboratory procedures in accordance with cGMP’s and GLP’s.
- Participate in Pfizer Global Best Practices Teams as necessary.
- Participate in Global product development teams as necessary.
- Practise laboratory good housekeeping and ensure all safety procedures are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry
- 0-3 years relevant experience
- Core Competencies: All aspects of analytical support, Process Improvement, Report writing, Troubleshooting of analytical methods & instrumentation, Analytical methods development, transfer & validation

Work Location Assignment: Flexible
