Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **AMG Investments Business Manager CIO Office.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- In coordination with stakeholders and management, formulating AMG Investment’s project governance and CIO operating activities
- Faciliatate the delivery of strategic objectives
- Ensure that the investment budget is aligned to the approved AOP and that planned resources are in place
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate the hiring and tracking of strategic objectives
- Design and align business management best practice and oversee CIO Office’s communications strategy
- Lead role managing the Business Management and graduate delivery teams
- Support and engage with global CIOs, Head of CIO Office, and the CIO
- Collaborate with Finance and the Operations teams
- Ensure compliance with AMG’s policies and control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements
- Lead the continuing development, implementation and improvement of the processes, structures, capabilities, capacity and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets
- Oversee team collaboration with colleagues to maximise end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Adheres to processes and controls to identify and mitigate risks and ensures timely escalation of control issues and reputation risks.
- Demonstrates undersanding compliance matters. Maintains awareness of risk and minimises the likelihood of it occurring through its identification, assessment, mitigation and control.
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards and addresses audit points and/or any issues raised by regulators in a timely manner. Fosters a compliance culture within the team, managing compliance risk and ensuring that the necessary training is completed.

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of banking, change, and project management experience
- 3+ years in Asset Management with proven track record in delivering strategic objectives
- Established project office, governance, business transformation best practice
- Extensive experience in working within large, complex financial institutions
- Critical thinking, delivery and value focused
- Able to communicate with C-Suite level stakeholders
- Collaborative working and ability to manage complex stakeholders’ relationships.
- Exceptional leadership skills; building, managing and retaining talent
- Demonstrates core values for diversity and inclusion
- Advanced degree from a recognised University
- Portfolio and/ or project management accredited or certified
- Passionate about the business, with view to grow and develop long
- term career in Asset Management
