**Position Summary**

To be able to connect Operations teams with Legal and Finance department; and work closely with Project Managers on administration matters such as VO, cost management, subcontractors and etc. Experienced and familiar with operations, understand the financial numbers and risks exposure of Projects. Co-lead the Risk Management Team for PaxOcean group.

**Tasks and **Responsibility**
- Assist Commercial and Project Management teams in coordinating all aspects of ongoing projects - involvement starts from the tender stage to construction stage and eventually completion and payment, and to monitor the overall project costs and schedule.
- Support commercial with review of contract admin requirements (from T&Cs) during tender phase to achieve best commercial position with minimum exposure to risk
- Work with the Yards’ commercial, procurement and subcontracting teams to negotiate contracts with contractors / consultants / fronts dealings with them. As part of this put in place frame agreements for strategic suppliers / subcontractors for better pricing and delivery lead times
- Prepare, submit and finalize VO with the Client, Suppliers and Subcontractors until resolution, and to implement a rigorous VO management process on the projects.
- Work with Project Manager and Commercial to track project milestones / payment stages, and verify claims / VOs
- Support Project Manager and Commercial in the general contract administration and correspondence
- Work with Project Manager and Commercial to brief relevant departments (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Subcontracting) on what is required of them from the contract admin and deliverables requirements
- Work with Credit Controller to vet new / potential customers and assist Finance to assess whether sufficient security for payment of sums due
- Work with Project Manager and Commercial to identify any likely issues (eg delays) or disputes that may arise in the project, and discuss with Legal to work out appropriate strategy to resolve or mitigate the impact of such issues / disputes
- Assist / support Project Manager with compiling project documents / information, especially in connection to likely issues or disputes, and be the point person to compile / provide project related documents as and when needed by Legal for any legal dispute or likely legal dispute.
- To scan external environment for potential threats that could derail PaxOcean’s achievement as well as opportunities for growth.
- To enhance governance of internal processes to identify potential challenges or problems before they occur during projects execution; safety, engineering processes, contracts administration, cost management etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and contracts management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience in the marine industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
