The Project Lead will be assigned to work on commodities or projects under the direction of the Purchasing Manager or HOD. He / she is responsible for:

- Manage all aspects of materials planning for assigned Key Customers in Venture GES Marsiling - NPI, mass production, end-of-life stages etc. to ensure smooth production run.
- Coordinate closely with GSBM, buyers, program managers, engineers and customers to provide clear material visibility such that sales order commitment to customer is met.
- Manage excess and obsolete inventory
- Actively seek opportunities for transfer to other GES site, return to vendors, etc.
- Manage project transfers (purchasing and materials) to other locations of Venture GES.
- Assist buyers in supply assurance, involve in expediting, negotiate with suppliers to improve delivery schedule and supply protection.
- Inventory control management on the project being assigned - ensure NPI inventory are inventoried before Mass Production.
- Anticipatory purchases. Buying extra qty in anticipation of a price increase to save money.
- Planned for and recommend safety or buffer stock where needed (especially for Long Lead time items).
- Work with GSBM on supplier MOQ vs usage - ensure MOQ purchases are within reasonable usage period.
- Review and coordinate implementation of ECN and EOL.
- Coordinate and follow up with Program Managers and Buyers on PPV;
- Assist the Purchasing Manager to implement Purchasing Policies to all internal and external parties.
- Provide management reports to Purchasing Manager and HOD for monthly Key Performance Indicator Review.

**Requirements**:

- Degree / Diploma in any discipline.
- 4 to 5 years of working experience in Electronics / Equipment and Contract Manufacturing industry.
- Must have basic Project management knowledge, understanding of Manufacturing operation.
- Must have basic MRP, market and technical knowledge.
- Work closely with the team to drive and plan projects to meet the department goal.
- Prepare to accept frequent changes from internal and external and response to the changes promptly.
- Possess good business acumen, positive attitude and thinking.
- Able to work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to speak mandarin is preferred (in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)
- Both overseas or local traveling may be required.
