- THE OPPORTUNITY

The Buyer position is a key role within our strategic plan for Supply Chain management. Excellent organizational

skills, ability to balance short term priorities and exceptional information analysis skills are a necessity. Key

objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and

targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global supply chain.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform planning, purchasing and expediting of products activities to ensure seamless supply to fulfil customers’

requirements.
- Participate in providing forecast to suppliers for their advance planning.
- Participate in various cost reduction programs such as purchasing and logistics cost.
- Implement and maintain inventory policies to balance the overall inventory through timely cancellations,

reschedules or even inventory reallocation between sites.
- Manage the administration of ordering products with suppliers for XP sales companies in Asia, Europe and North

America.
- Manage stock reconciliation and other exceptions in inventory.
- Responsible for monthly inventory control to ensure stocks are kept at the minimum stock level all the time.
- Responsible for purchasing stock at the best price break but as per consumption history and some judgement

call.
- Manage closely all the expediting process of supply with various suppliers and XP factories.
- Work with suppliers and XP factories on pull in, push out, PO changes, direct drop shipment, ship mode request

etc from Sales parties.
- Responsible for sites request for stock transfer through Stock Transfer Order (STO) management.
- Assist warehouse on some logistics function like preparing shipping document for RMA, STO etc.
- PO management (creation, cancellation, updating) that may include Opex PO.
- Responsible to work with Business System Team to update any Material Master data & Purchasing Info Record

change.
- Responsible to manage his/her assigned suppliers or XP factories.
- Any other work/project as assign by line manager or HOD.
- KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- “O” level or Diploma (in Business / Supply Chain) or its equivalent with minimum 2 years relevant working

experience in the electronics industry.
- Has working knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana) ERP system and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Has working knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is an added advantage.
- Some technical background in electrical/electronics is also an added advantage.
- Analytical skills with hands-on experience in ERP system, data extraction and analysis preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Must be a team player and self-driven as well.
