Apac - Senior Informatics Market Development

Overview:
The Senior Informatics Market Development Specialist has business/market development and pre-sales product responsibility for Waters’ Informatics core products Empower CDS Solutions and Laboratory Management Software Systems. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team and regional Informatics Sales & Marketing Specialists by designing creative informatics solutions to serve day to day laboratory challenges, designing marketing campaigns and activities to drive long term customer demand generation. Demonstrating product values and selling enterprise class software into the scientific and life sciences markets we serve.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and support marketing and pre-sales activities to establish long term customer demand generation for Waters Informatics products (Empower CDS, Empower LMS, NuGenesis LMS)
- Lead, manage, and leverage customer engagement opportunities, such as on-site or web-enabled demonstrations; own the process from lead generation, to deal review, to negotiations, and closing a deal
- Responsible for marketing activities on providing Regulatory Compliance insights in conjunction with Empower CDS & NuGenesis
- Design creative solutions to customer laboratory workflow and testing needs using the NuGenesis Laboratory Management System and/or Empower CDS
- Guide customers for laboratory digitalization roadmap, regulatory practices (Part 11, Annex 11), lab workflows and adoption of network systems
- Develop & contribute marketing collateral not limited to technical notes, case studies, digital marketing campaigns and social media promotions
- Develop and maintain a thorough and high-level understanding of Waters’ offerings and value propositions, particularly Informatics products, and our competitors’ offerings
- Develop strong customer relationships at management level and drive acquisition of new customers via Waters’ informatics products and advantages
- Organize & conduct internal trainings for field staff on Waters Informatics solutions for new products and features release

Qualifications:

- Masters or bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Life Science industry for Informatics Products marketing, pre-sales, business development in a complex environment as a vendor (work experience with Analytical Instrument vendors is preferrable)
- Knowledge on Regulatory Compliance, 21 CFR Part 11, PIC/S and/or EU, ISO 17025, GxP, CSV is preferred
- Knowledge on pharmaceutical, manufacturing, Chemical Materials and food testing labs industries (experience in handling audits is advantage)
- Experience in QC Laboratory workflows, software systems, analytical instruments as vendor or lab personnel (CDS and LIMS experience is mandatory)
- Work experience in SEA/ASEAN region for Informatics market and business development in Life Science industry
- Ability to involve in customer discussions to promote, demonstrate software products with strong professional and technical skills (experience in customer facing field activities is advantage)
- Strong Interpersonal skills and communication, experience in cross-functional environment, distributors network and customers (SEA/ASEAN region is preferred)
- Experience with business planning skills including the creation of financial projections and estimations.
- Work experience in similar competencies and profile is advantage
- Proven selling skills including negotiation, demonstration and closing
- Ability to operate independently and be self-motivated
- Strong communication and presentation skills; polished verbal and written English a must
- Ability to travel 50%+ of the time within APAC region
