Fantastic opportunity for a **Regional Lead, Policy & Regulatory Affairs** to join a world leading, tech-savvy regtech firm in **Singapore**. The business has built an advanced SaaS technology platform utilised and highly regarded by financial institutions globally.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the global Strategy Team in a key contributor role on our client’s continued journey as a market leader. An integral part of our client’s business offering is Regulatory expertise. This role has been created to drive out regional regulatory strategy campaigns, from horizon scanning to interpreting and translating critical industry regulations into a suite of advanced technology products, as well as commercialising regulatory IP. The role includes thought leadership and regulatory/industry engagement.

As such, we are seeking a motivated, results-oriented, forward-looking leader who will facilitate and evolve the strategy in the APAC region.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct market analysis to capture the economic rationale for implementing new regulations
- Create the business case for investment and guide it through the governance process
- Work with industry stakeholders (buyers & users) to decompose market requirements and define compelling and differentiated solutions using 1-1 interviews, client roundtables or other structure as appropriate
- Be a passionate speaker and blogger of regulatory related content and represent the company at industry client forums
- Be proactive in working with a community of clients to discuss and align on regulatory strategy and topics
- Be accountable for the quality, timeliness and maturity of regulatory content and offerings

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor's degree from a top tier university
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a compliance, product or strategy role in the financial technology industry
- Experience with Governance, Operating Models, Roadmaps and Investment Decisioning
- Excellent research, analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong presentation and communication skills - must be an effective and enthusiastic communicator
- Strong organisation and follow-up skills, with an outstanding attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Good working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Prior experience in engaging with Regulators
- Domain Experience across one or many of the following regulatory risk types (Financial Crime, Market Regulations, Tax, ESG)
