**Key Responsibilities**
- To work closely with Ops and Performance Manager
- Responsible to develop operational KPI, such as Port productivity, Berth Productivity, Crane intensity, idle time etc.
- Responsible for monitoring of bunker consumption of vessels with close coordination with the Performance Manager.
- Ensure close coordination with Vessel Command and local ops team to ensure smooth vessel-berth coordination that results in bunker efficiency. By being able to secure a lower berth waiting, it would help us recover on the vessel schedule and in turn contribute towards our bunker-saving effort.
- Monitoring KPI and improving performance trends.
- Conversant with weather routing programs.
- Knowledge on decarbonization and alignment of Carbon Intensity Indicators (CII).
- To compare and monitor newly chartered vessel’s consumption against TCD and take appropriate actions to engage vessel owners.
- Responsibility for monitoring Port Performance against set targets and KPI’s.
- Interacting with local agents in ensuring port operations are at optimum levels.
- Attending to claims. Off hires, reefers claim, stevedore damage reports, consumption claims etc
- Experience in Container vessel cargo stowage & planning.
- Monitoring vessel reports (VRM) and ensure submitted in timely manner.
- Experience in Softship scheduling program (Voyces) will be an advantage.
- Involved in the analysis and monitoring of operational data.
- Validating vessel reports within in-house data warehouse.
- Submitting assigned vessel operational costing after every voyage.
- To manage and resolve all operational-related matters in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Possess Mininum Diploma/ Degree in Maritime Studies / Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Prior sailing experience on container vessels will be an advantage
- Knowledge in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling / Vessel Stowage Awareness
- Able to adapt and response to the changes in dynamic Ops environment
- Execellent Interpersonal skills
- Good command of oral and written in English
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills, pro-active, willingness to learn and commited to work
- Good computer knowledge
- Willing and able to work after office hours (sometimes during weekends and the wee hours) when required.
