- Defining data migration strategy for master data and transaction data
- Defining data migration approach & process, including mock and production loads, to ensure successful production migration with minimum errors
- Recommending and deploying ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Load) and validation tools
- Executing successful data migration projects in complex system landscape
- Defining and leading pre-project data cleansing activities
- Establishing the business process to ensure data quality is high and maintained
- Acting as data stewardship in business as usual phase
- Collaborating with IT to establish data governance
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computing or any related discipline with 10+ years of working experience.
- Minimum 5 years of data migration experience in S/4HANA
- Experience in the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA data migration projects using ETL solutions & tools
- Experience in migrating data objects in following SAP functional areas: MM, WM, SD, FI, CO, PLM, PP, QM, CS and PM
- Experience in tools like Excel (vlookup / macros etc), Python and SQL to support pre-load and post-load validation of data migration results
- Strong troubleshooting skills and meticulous in managing huge amount of data
- Strong analytical, communication and project management skills, including the ability to gather user requirements and identify potential solutions.
- Strong ability to collaborate closely with multiple functional and business teams in developing data migration strategy and approach.
- Strong ability to interact both in written and verbal forms.
