Team Introduction
TikTok is seeking an enthusiastic Tax Business Partner to join the tax team to support its rapid business growth. This is a well-balanced regional role which comprises both tax compliance and advisory aspects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for data preparation and collation for tax filings, tax audits and litigation;
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns with support from external tax consultants where relevant;
- Support HQ tax reporting requirements and provide guidance for tax accounting;
- Assist in optimizing end-to-end tax compliance procedures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency with coordination with other finance teams where relevant;
- Research on tax legislation changes and assess the implications to the Group and ultimately suggest steps to manage those changes if applicable;
- Coordinate with in-house tax team and external tax consultants to provide tax advice to existing and new businesses lines;
- Provide tax support on various projects as well as ad-hoc tax matters.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree or above;
- More than 5 years of related experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or accounting firms;
- Ability to clearly communicate tax technical issues to non-tax professionals;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills;
- A good team player;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Qualified professional qualifications such as CICPA, CTA, ACCA and other industry recognised qualifications are preferred;
- Experience in the Internet/ TMT industry is preferred;
- Experience in a regional tax role a plus;
- Experience in using ERP systems to gather/analyse data a plus.
