Junior Accountant

**Drake Business Services Asia Singapore **is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger (GL) Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a GL Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. **Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the monthly and year-end closing processes, including accruals, tax provisions, revenue reviews, and interface entries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Reconcile intercompany and related party transactions, resolving discrepancies and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Responsible for preparation and reporting on the countries budget, forecasts, and management reports, ensuring alignment with financial goals and performance metrics.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast and identifying variances.
- Prepare quarterly reporting packs and ad-hoc schedules for the Group.
- Prepare and file regulatory reports, annual financial statements, and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Perform and provide the analysis and interpretation of financial results/performance.
- Conduct cost analysis for projects, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project expenses.
- Support and ensure compliance with all filing requirements.
- Liaise closely with auditors, tax agents and corporate secretariat on audit and filing matters.
- Support the implementation of process redesigns and system enhancements to improve financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy, Finance and Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 3 years in preparation of full set accounts with good understanding of Singapore statutory reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for details
- Proactive, exercise flexibility, able to multi-task & work independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
