Job Scope (Includes and not limited to the below)

1. Sets golf courses to include cutting cups, setting tees, repairing greens, raking bunkers, and mowing greens and fairways.

2. Maintains golf course, including bunkers, greens, driving range, and tee boxes; mows bunker faces; prunes trees; performs pest control.

3. Installs, maintains, and repairs irrigation systems.

4. Performs or oversees performance of golf cart maintenance.

5. Assists in special construction projects as required.

6. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Description (Includes and not limiting to the following :)
- Performs a wide variety of responsible duties requiring the exercise of judgment and initiative in the management of a municipal golf course operation.
- You have to assist in the management of the daily operations and services of the golf course including: facility/building management; staff supervision and management; and marketing and tournament organization.
- You are responsible for weekly scheduling and daily oversight of staff for the facility, the pro shop operation, and the on-course golf rangers/starters. Performs related work as required.
- You are to ensure that all work assigned to you are carried out smoothly and efficiently without any disruption in accordance with Company’s Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Management Plan.
- You have to create an environment where workers are involved and enthusiastic, with open communications and respect for themselves, members, guests and the property.

Possess the following
- recognise vocational & professional certification with minimum 4 years related work experience
- possess CGCS GCSAA certificate is a must
- able to lead, motivate, adapt, embraces strong cultural diversity & work in multi-ethnic teams
- excellent leadership/team management skills with strong interpersonal/communications skills, both oral and written
- positive attitude
