To be responsible for the preparation of all meals for the clients in the Centre in accordance with the approved menu ( breakfast, lunch - rice & soup).
- To order, purchase and account for all dry and wet food supplies.
- To prepare all meals on time for the clients.
- To adhere to and ensure strict hygiene practices and cleanliness during preparation of meals and beverages.
- To ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen at all times.
- To assist with the serving of food to clients during the lunch and tea-breaks.
- To plan and make special preparations for celebrations and festivals, as directed by the Centre Manager and/or the assigned staff.
- To raise order and facilitate ration supply from centralized store at regular intervals.
- To check and ensure the valid expiry dates for food stock and groceries on hand and to facilitate timely purchases when required.
