**PURPOSE**

***:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Venue for the Sports and Information Resource Centre at the Singapore Sports Hub. This position reports to the Deputy Head of Stakeholder Engagement.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

***:

- Ensuring smooth operations of SIRC: You will identify and address any issues that arise and make necessary adjustments to ensure that the venue is functioning effectively
- Coordinating events: You will coordinate events held at the venue, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made
- Budgeting and financial management: You will develop and manage budgets for SIRC, including tracking expenses, forecasting revenue, and ensuring that financial goals are being met
- Maintaining facilities: You will ensure that the SIRC facilities are maintained to a high standard. This includes overseeing maintenance and repairs, as well as ensuring that the venue is clean and well-maintained
- Overseeing administration and management of venue tours bookings and calendar and scheduling of tour guides

**REQUIREMENTS**

***:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as events and hospitality management, business management, or equivalent
- Several years of experience working in a MICE or events-related field, with a proven track record of success in managing staff and resources
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, visitors, donors, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of venue operations, preferably in areas of exhibit design, collections management, and visitor/venue tour services
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
