**About the role**

**Technical Solution Support**:

- Act as the technical expert for **Carrier’s Abound Solutions**, providing deep knowledge and expertise in building automation, IoT, and smart building platforms.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, design tailored digital solutions, and ensure that proposals align with client needs.
- Develop and prepare **technical proposals**, including system designs, product configurations, and solution descriptions.
- Prepare **cost estimations**for proposals, ensuring that budgets are accurate, competitive, and align with project scope.

**Pre-Sales Engineering Support**:

- Provide **pre-sales technical support**during customer presentations and meetings, explaining complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Assist sales teams in presenting and demonstrating digital solutions to prospective clients, showcasing the value and ROI of **Abound’s**offerings.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, addressing inquiries, conducting solution walkthroughs, and resolving technical challenges.

**Solution Design and Customization**:

- Design and customize **IoT**and **smart building solutions**based on customer requirements, including building systems integration, environmental monitoring, energy management, and asset management.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, software engineering, and operations to ensure seamless implementation and integration of proposed solutions.

**Project Coordination and Implementation**:

- Work closely with project managers to ensure that proposed digital solutions are successfully implemented within customer environments.
- Assist in overseeing the technical aspects of **project deployment**, including system configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients during the sales cycle and post-sales technical discussions.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and acting as a trusted advisor for technical aspects of **Abound’s**digital solutions.

**Technology and Industry Expertise**:

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in **building automation, IoT, and digital solutions**.
- Provide insights on emerging trends and best practices within the **building automation**and **smart infrastructure**industries.
- Develop a deep understanding of **Carrier’s Abound solutions**, product roadmap, and related technology platforms.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology**, or a related technical field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of **5+ years of experience**in **digital solutions**or **technical pre-sales**roles, preferably in **building automation, IoT, or smart building**solutions.
- Experience working with **commercial real estate, infrastructure, or industrial building clients**is a plus.
- Strong understanding of **IoT platforms, building automation systems (BAS)**, and related **smart building technologies**.
- Prior experience in **technical proposal development**, **budgeting**, and **solution presentations**.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in **IoT technologies**, **building management systems**, and **digital solutions for infrastructure**.
- Familiarity with **HVAC**systems, energy management platforms, and environmental monitoring solutions.
- Ability to **design**and **implement technical solutions**, with an understanding of **integration and interoperability**within building systems.
- Familiar with **cloud computing**platforms and **edge computing**technologies.

**Soft Skills**:

- Exceptional **presentation**and **communication**skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to quickly identify technical solutions that align with customer needs.
- Ability to **manage multiple projects**simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

**Teamwork and Collaboration**:

- Ability to work collaboratively with **cross-functional teams**(sales, product development, engineering, and project management) to deliver optimal customer solutions.
