Senior Engineer, Sustainability

**Purpose of this role**:
You will lead the APJ sustainability strategies and integrate them into goals and targets for all the relevant sites.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Sustainability
- Perform activities for continual improvement on sustainability program.
- Evaluate, proposes and implements strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy management, conservation, reduction of pollution, net zero carbon, recycling, waste reduction and general education on sustainability.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote and incorporate sustainability practices that are aligned to company’s environmental targets.
- Establish environmentally sustainable performance metrics of various entities to identify and recommend new cost-effective intervention approaches that will enable entities to show continuous environmental sustainability improvements.
- Lead events such as continual improvement Kaizens.
- Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

EHS
- Provide guidance and coaching on EHS management.
- Ensure regulatory requirements are complied with and site EHS programs and documentations are maintained as well as assist in developing the EHSMS for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards

Facilities
- Responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the facilities / sustainability development projects.
- Assist the Department Manager in planning, coordinating & implementing the operational aspect of facility activities.
- Participate in cross functional, energy conservation & other work improvement activities.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals
- Minimum Degree holder in Facilities/ Engineering/ EHS
- At least 5 years of EHS/Facilities/Sustainability Management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, Waste Management and Control.
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) would be an added advantage
