**Job Purpose**:
The Production Engineer is responsible for developing the operations and maintenance plans and schedules for the continuous operations of equipment and systems. The job holders manage a team of Supervisors, Welders, and Technicians and ensure efficient business operations and profitability both in our shop and at customer sites.

**Key Roles
**1 Conduct Operations**
- Manage the Projects Productions in terms of budget and schedule to meet the customer contractual requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on operations
- Evaluate the feasibility of identified resourcing requirements to achieve an operational state following organizational standards
- Review operational plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and systems as part of Standardisation.
- Timely submission of drawings, calculations, and project-specific documents of the project team.
- Monitor and meet the revenue and cash flow targets for the Production Team by timely completion of projects
- Oversee the purchasing of project required components and parts
- Ensure systems are built according to required specifications
- Prepare necessary logistics support for the shipment of systems
- Support sales quotation and drawings
- Involves in research and development of proprietary solutions and products for company patent and concept proving.

**2 Manage Health, Safety, and Environment**
- Drive departmental plans to ensure compliance with HSSE and Productivity
- Review vendor compliance with the organization’s HSSE standard and practices
- Ensure proper closure of HSSE
- Ensure the implementation of sustainable engineering procedures and guidelines

**3 Manage Risk and Business**
- Develop risk management plans and risk controls in alignment with the organization’s risk management framework
- Analyze and consider the financial implications of various decisions and tasks
- Analyze the solutions developed, and work accomplished to identify learning points for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with company IP protection procedure.

**4 Manage People and Organisational Function**
- Drive team performance to achieve department goals
- Identify recruitment needs and areas for technical and business management training and development
- Analyze viability to proposed continuous improvement/lesson learned initiatives.
- Provide Monthly Production Progress & Utilisation Reports, Production Department Meeting of Minutes, and other Ad-hoc reports for Management Review.
- Provide onboarding training to newcomers and attend training provided as part of personal development.

**Prerequisites**:

- Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering related studies or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
