**What the role is**
- As the Deputy Head, Coordination, of the Communicable Diseases Transformation Office (CDT) set up by the Ministry of Health (MOH), you will support the Head, Strategy and Coordination, and the Head, CDT, in the establishment of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA).
The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapore’s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. The CDT’s role is to plan and execute the setup of the CDA, which will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board.
**What you will be working on**
- You will play a key role in the Strategic and Coordination team in the CDT, to manage a team to plan for and coordinate the setup of the corporate systems in the CDA. This includes the following:
- Oversight of the different corporate requirements and workstreams’ activities and progress;
- Develop, coordinate, and manage project timelines to facilitate the smooth and timely setup of the CDA;
- Proactively identify issues with potential impact on critical milestones/deliverables, assess and propose solutions to mitigate impact and ensure project timelines are adhered to;
- Manage and coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure the timely set up of the CDA;
- Provide regular reports on the progress of the various workstreams’ activities;
- Manage other administrative matters such as providing secretariat support to meetings and other assigned duties
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will require you to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities concurrently for a smooth transition to the CDA.
**What we are looking for**
- At least 10 years of relevant strategy development and project management experience in big organisations such as government sectors, public healthcare or MNCs;
- Comfortable with working in matrix reporting organisations would be an advantage;
- Systematic, resourceful and has a broad sense of perspective;
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and interpersonal skills
