**What the role is**
- We are looking for someone who is able to conceptualise media engagement strategy aligned with the communications goals of HTX.
**What you will be working on**
- Plan and execute media relations outreach for special events, programmes and major initiatives - Develop engaging story ideas and propose ideas proactively for media pitches to generate media coverage - Compose and edit press releases, pitches, corporate literature, and articles targeted at the external audience. - Draft talking points, media statements and speeches. - Track, monitor and evaluate media coverage, media relations processes and approvals - Foster good relationships with local and international media contacts to promote the agency
**What we are looking for**
- A Degree holder in Liberal Arts, Communications, Journalism or Business. - Independent, self-driven and team player - Creative and thinks out-of-the-box - Strong inter-personal skills to develop strong relationships with media representatives and key stakeholders - Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines - Strong organisational skills - Keen interest in technology topics - More than 10 years of experience in the development and execution of communications plans, with up to three years in a supervisory position. - Experienced in working with journalists and handling the media - Good track record of writing compelling copies. Exceptional writing and editing skills. - Proven knowledge of print, digital and broadcast media
