The Corporate Communications (CC) Division at A*STAR showcases the organisation’s R&D collaborations and outcomes, maintaining its visibility in a fast-paced media landscape. We communicate how our discoveries translate into meaningful outcomes for the public, industry and scientific community through a dynamic, multi-channel approach.

Data plays a critical role in the development of A*STAR’s communications strategy to connect, convince and convert our key audiences. As an Assistant Head of the Corporate Communication’s Data Analytics Department, you will combine the rigour of data analysis with creative thinking to drive our data-driven communication efforts. You should possess general experience in corporate communications, digital communications, or digital marketing, and extensive working knowledge in analysing data and presenting findings. You should have demonstrable experience in turning data insights into actionable communications insights to help optimise the performance of campaigns, leverage growth opportunities and position A*STAR at the forefront of science and technology to selected target audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of this role in the Data Analytics Department are as follows:

- Assist to drive the collection of data to build archetypes.
- Perform analytics and derive actionable insights to assist corporate communications departments to enhance effectiveness, discoverability, and personalisation for target audiences.
- Produce visualisations to summarise insights from quantitative data sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design surveys for measuring communications effectiveness.
- Perform ad-hoc media monitoring and reporting.

This role reports to a Head in Corporate Communications.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in corporate communications, public relations, digital marketing or data analytics.
- Good understanding of the multi-channel media landscape.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain insights to stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and as a team member to improve operations or advocacy programmes.
