**The Job
We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will lead the software engineering efforts at Lumens’ mobility platform services.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with CTO to ensure high software engineering standards of our mobility platform and apps
- Understand business requirements and plan the most optimal engineering approach
- Lead Singapore-based and overseas engineering teams to deliver software products on time
- Ensure backend software architecture is scalable for high concurrent usage and optimized for best user experience
- Research and implement the latest engineering practices and tools that suits our needs
- Groom and develop engineers in the team as the team expands

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with strong backend architecture design and implementation experience
- Familiarity with javascript-based technology stack preferred (e.g. NodeJS, ReactJS)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong organizational, leadership and mentoring skills
- Proven experience in software development and deployment processes
