**Job Description**:
**SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES**:
Eurofins Technologies is an international business line (IBL) within the Eurofins Group which is developing, manufacturing and marketing technologies and other supplies in the field of bioanalytical testing. The business focusses predominantly on food safety technologies and clinical diagnostics based on PCR, ELISA and LFD platforms. The Application Specialist supports the sales team with onsite instrument demonstration and installation, customer presentation and evaluation.

**POSITION & OBJECTIVES**:

- Be a technical resource and support the sales organization with scientific presentation and demonstration
- Conduct basic and advance technical training for distributors and customers
- Co-organise trade show, talks and events with Sales and Marketing team
- Collaborate with distributors and global teams to assist in product registration
- Keep track of technical and customers’ issues by means of logging cases in CRM and work towards resolution in the most efficient and effective manner
- All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities

**Qualifications**:
**PREFERRED PROFILE**:

- Must have Diploma/Degree in science, preferably in Biology or Biomedical Science
- Have 2 to 3 years of relevant experiences in clinical diagnostic testing
- Has experience in working with analytical instruments, PCR, ELISA and CLIA technology
- Have a growth mind set and strong problem solving abilities, able to take ownership towards execution, and is results-oriented
- Work independently and make intelligent decisions based on experience and knowledge
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail; excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- Up to 50% travel within Asia required
