Shopee's hyper-growing business scale has transformed most "innocent" problems into huge technical challenges, and there is no better place to experience it first-hand if you love technologies as much as we do. **About the Team**: **The mission of the Marketplace Intelligence and Data team is to build large-scale data and intelligent products to facilitate the growth of Shopee's e-commerce business. This team is responsible for building Shopee's e-commerce data warehouse, development of merchant and operational data products, end-to-end traffic data products, product algorithms (including product listing, control, information optimization, SPU, etc), promotion algorithms (including product recruitment, product selection, and recommendation algorithms), review algorithms, user profiles, as well as fundamental artificial intelligence capabilities such as machine translation, speech algorithms, image algorithms, and KYC verification.** - ** Collaborate with algo teams to build algo related key business metrics;**: - ** Responsible for the development of data warehouses related to marketplace algorithms, which includes developing and maintaining offline and online algo model feature pipelines, feature development, data output quality monitoring, and assessment.**: - ** Translate algo and business requirements into technical implementations and responsible for building batch and real-time data warehouse;**: - ** Manage data modeling design and optimizing daily ETL jobs;**: - ** Responsible for data governance tasks, deeply involved in optimizing the overall data pipeline to improve resource utilization efficiency.** **Requirements**: - ** Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related STEM field;**: - ** Solid computer basic knowledge (e.g. data structure & algorithms, SQL and networks);**: - ** Strong coding capabilities in at least one programming language (e.g. C/C++/Java/Python/Golang);**: - ** Project or intern experience in one or more databases such as HBase, Druid, MySQL, ClickHouse, etc;**: - ** Passionate about data warehouse, ETL development;**: - ** Good communication skills and a fast learner of new business and technology knowledge.
