**Senior Business Consultant**

The Senior Consultant is responsible for the management of subprojects or complex workstreams in large projects. The main focus of this role includes management consulting, strategy consulting, organizational consulting, process optimization consulting, or program implementation.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Solely responsible for management of independent workstream or sub-project in a large program with the guidance from Project Manager. Projects or programs cover worldwide across all Bayer Subgroups with international and cross-sectoral scope and corresponding strategic importance.
- In exceptional cases sole responsibility for management of smaller projects and representation of the respective Project Manager.
- Sole responsibility for management of sub-projects and complex workstreams in consulting projects: Procedure, Concept, recommendations with regards to content (in coordination with Project Manager).

**Key Working Relationships**:

- Cooperation with commissioning departments in global / region /local, usually respective project team members to support project execution, e.g. specialist departments (organization, strategy).
- Project related coordination and cooperation with other specialist departments and external consultants (to ensure necessary communication and integration for Bayer project)
- Collaboration in (sub-) projects composed of various fields (also with internal and external consultants.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Degree qualified (additional MBA, Master or Ph. D.is ideal) with distinction in Business, Economics, Life Sciences and/or Chemistry, Engineering, Organizational Behavior/Design (or similar) or related field from a top-listed university.
- Ideally, several years of experience in management consulting and/or corporate experience related to Bayer's operation (preferably in an international working environment).
- Preferably, experienced in pharmaceuticals, OTC, FMCG, agrochemicals, and/or chemicals in functions such as Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Business Transformation, and/or Change Management.
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills.
- Leadership skills and experience, ability to deal with senior client management.
- Empathic communication and the ability to drive implementation.
