Governance and Process Specialist

**Role Purpose**
To assist the Compliance and Process Manager in understanding and developing financial governance within Swire Bulk workflows. This includes assessment of controls effectiveness and process efficiency.
**Role Accountabilities**
- Work together with process owners to draft processes and update existing documentation in the Company’s Policy Management System. Manage and maintain repository of policies and procedures.
- Assist in the review of existing workflows and processes, including follow up with the different stakeholders targeted at streamlining and improving process efficiency and internal controls.
- Review documented processes for adequacy and effectiveness of controls mechanism and propose improvements to the Compliance and Process Manager, where necessary.
- Assist in management of external auditors or internal auditors for periodic audits.
- Assist in conducting of Enterprise Risk Management Assessment of the Company.
- Assist in vendor onboarding work stream.
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects relating to process improvement and controls assessment as assigned.

- Challenging and stopping unsafe acts and behaviours or unsafe conditions.
- Comply with the Global Safety Standards, Polices and Operating Procedures.
**Key Qualifications & Skills**
**Qualifications**
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA) or in the progress of obtaining certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Internal Audit or External Audit with focus on process and controls
**Technical Skills**
- Familiar with internal control framework and accounting standards
- Familiar with Windows Visio / Lucidchart
- Enterprise Risk Assessment exposure a plus
**Professional Skills**
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Independent and curious
- Strong motivation, work ethic, organization and time management skills
