Manager / Senior Manager/ Lead, Business Development

**Overall Job Objectives**:
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the strategic development and tactical execution of the company’s growth. We are looking for an individual with strong process thinking skills and people management skills to work with cross-functional teams to transform the giving ecosystem within Singapore.
**Core Duties And Responsibilities**:
**General Management and Leadership**
- Develop and lead strategic direction for Business Development and Operations Team
- Inspires, enables, and empower staff to build a high performing and engaged team
- Develop and manage team’s targets, budget, and resources
**Business Development**
- Identify, assess, and manage key potential partnerships; understand their aspirations and needs of the partners, and align their business plan to solutions within NVPC.
- Deploy successful tactics and campaigns to increase visibility, enhance usability and deepen engagement of NVPC’s giving ecosystem with the goal of growing pool of donors, volunteers and donations raised.
- Identify and monitor key trends on Giving.sg and the ecosystem for actionable insights to affect or influence charitable giving.
- Monitor and manage relationships with key stakeholders including partners and sponsors and the giving ecosystem stakeholders
- Work with internal teams, including Product, Operations, Legal and compliance on any potential client issues
**Operations**
- Maintain oversight and governance over daily portal operations and client service and financial processes, including payment authorization, banking matters and internal and external audits.
- Contribute to Giving.sg and SG Cares development through requirements gathering and translating key requirements into portal features for design and implementation.
- Identify and recommend processes, policies and workflows for backend operations to improve security, productivity and efficacy.
- Monitor and escalate technical or business needs to relevant stakeholders. Work jointly with support and development team.
**Key Deliverables**:
Generate new business leads, maintain and grow existing relationship with key stakeholders including partners and sponsors and Giving.sg clients (individuals, corporates, and charities) to drive the growth of donors, volunteers and donations on Giving.sg
**Requirements**:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3- 5 years in Partnership/Stakeholder management or business development/sales account management
- Strong execution, time-management and prioritization skills, with ability for attention to details
- Strong analytical skills with sharp commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to deal with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity in the context of stakeholder management
- Strategic thinker with good communications skills
- Possess empathy to understand needs and creativity to work out various options for partnerships.
- Self-driven in keeping abreast of the technological developments, trends and business use cases
- Passionate about the social sector
- Strong sense of integrity
