Program Manager, Cloud Professional Services

Minimum qualifications:

- 8 years of experience in project, program or product management.
- Experience in Agile project management, client services delivery, and/or management consulting.
- Direct experience in technology services delivery in Google Cloud/IT technology services.
- Experience in managing and overseeing multiple initiatives as part of a program portfolio.

Preferred qualifications:

- Recognised industry certifications/accreditations in project management theory and methods.
- Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Experience leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making and prioritization.
- Understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.
- Ability to learn, understand, and work with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and management skills, with a focus on translating complexity to non-specialist audiences.

The Google Cloud Customer Success team is responsible for effectively introducing clients to Google Cloud Platform and to Google Workspace, and assisting them from inception to production. We solve challenging and complex technical problems from infrastructure migration, to network optimization, to security best practices, and much more.

As a Google Cloud Project Manager, you will specialize in project and program management, governance, and orchestration of large scale cloud engagements. You will support both our customers and internal teams delivery and execution of our programs. You will have experience planning and executing the governance of cloud adoption, IT transformation and/or cloud migrations. You have an understanding of both Enterprise IT and cloud technologies.

In this role, you will travel up to 30% of the time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the project management of multi-functional Google Cloud Professional Services projects, covering program planning, delivery assurance and verification, tracking and reporting, and risk and mitigation planning.
- Manage the risks, issues and actions for account(s) and track them to meet expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.
- Manage the delivery quality of the delivery teams and resources when needed.
- Take various project and technical requirements and organize them into clear goals and objectives. Break down large projects/processes into sub-projects and sub-processes that can be executed by other teams or partners.
- Manages overall program health. Oversee the delivery of multiple initiatives within a client engagement, drive delivery of outcomes for Google related scope, and provide oversight/reporting of partners, and customer responsibilities.
