Snr Icss Marine Commissioning Engineer

**Overall Job Purpose
- Applies expert knowledge of Instrumentation and Control Commissioning and seasoned project/site experience / Industry to support development/improvement/implementation/assessment of procedures/work processes for the successful commissioning of any project in COMPANY business areas including hull/topsides/mooring facilities right from preparation phase to execution phase. To lead an execution team on-site through the technicians to successfully perform the previously planned pre-commissioning and commissioning activities being compliant with the overall project schedule.

**Core Responsibilities
- Plans and engages the Commissioning Manager to provide inputs regarding the organization of manpower resources and deployment schedule, considering the current workload and resource availability.
- Participate in Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities including but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, Studies, Operability, Front Loading Commissioning in design, SCEs, and Performance standards in Commissioning Procedures.
- To independently review & develop various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents highlight the shortfalls through the vigorous review process, and address these shortfalls with the team.
- Develop / Improvise Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Procedures for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
- Review the commissioning deliverables developed such as. commissioning execution plan, core test plan, and PTW/LUN/LOTO procedures, to ensure compliance with the overall commissioning execution plan and project timelines regarding ICSS system SoW.
- To support in developing project deliverables as per project & client requirement
- Prepare and review company development work methodology/procedures.
- Capable of managing the demanding expectations of clients which may range from addressing gaps to unexpected work scope variations while ensuring conformance to the project, regulatory, and contract requirements.
- Attend FAT and SAT depending on project requirements.
- Independently deals with regulatory authority, class, vendors, and. clients regarding comments or queries on commissioning deliverables and develops technical/engineering solutions to the issues raised.
- Ensures keeping systems/sub-systems already commissioned in operation with properly skilled workers, before handover to the Pre-Operations team.
- Participates in meetings with the project team to review progress and address interface/implementation/execution issues where necessary based on the standard procedures, practices, and lessons learned from past projects to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly.
- Guides the junior staff to understand the technical and project-required functions through discussions or knowledge-sharing sessions in light of the Company’s standards, procedures, and engineering requirements. Led site execution team in performing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities planned for the Instrumentation and control systems, managing the interfaces with Construction and Pre-Operations teams, and ensuring adherence to the yard and company PTW systems regarding all the Instrumentation and control System SoW.

**Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation/Electronic) (or) Master's Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation / Electronics) with 12 to 15 years of work experience with a minimum of 10 years work experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s). Also, a Diploma in Engineering with 17 to 20 years of work experience (making the equivalent of a degree) can be considered.
