To provide assistance to Instrument lead in making instrument engineering deliverables as per Project requirement, quality control on Project Deliverables made by Engineers/Designers and to assist in bidding in terms of Tag items pricing compilation/evaluation/sourcing, technical qualification/deviation list etc

**Responsibilities**:

- Report to lead engineer in-charge assigned on-going project for delegation of responsibilities.
- Assisting Instrument lead Engineer to execute on-going project in terms of preparing Engineering deliverables listed below as minimum. Validate/review ICSS Package RFQ, instrument data sheet, sizing calculation for control valves/orifice plates/relief valves done by Engineer, assist in preparing PCS, ESD/PSD, PDCS and F&G system specification
- Prepare ICSS design basis and ICSS specification etc
- Prepare Process Cause & Effect Matrix based on Input from Process Dept
- Prepare F&G Cause & Effect Matrix based on Input from Technical Safety Dept such as Area Safety Chart, F&G design philosophy
- Handle and resolve all technical queries from Technical Authority such as DNV in terms of ICSS System and F&G system.
- Follow project planning schedule and CTR with the task date to complete the job within schedule and Budgeted Man Hour
- Assist to review input to P&IDs
- Assist to review all mechanical packages documentation such as P&IDs, instrument data sheets, wiring diagrams, process/pneumatic hook-up, shutdown logic, sequence flow chart, panel layout e
- Validate/Review F&G data sheet prepared by Instrument Engineer
- Review F&G detectors plot plan for sufficient coverage as dictate by International code/standard and Client Specification
- Validate/Review all TBE for ICSS Package, field instruments, F&G devices, ESD/PCS/PDCS/F&G control system, TBE input for mechanical packages together with all the involved discipline lead with special care to the proper definition of vendor offer documents and relevant clarification meeting, till the final technical recommendation to procurement team.
- Assisting lead engineer in preparing variation order claim with justification, liaising with Project management team
- Validate/Review I/0 schedule for PCS, PDCS, ESD/PSD, F&G System
- Review and control Changes, arrange and manage the change record, check and arrange approval of design when applicable
- Validate/Review I.S. Calculation and CMS Design.

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum 10 - 15 years of working experience as Instrumentation Engineer
- Should have an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards for Instrumentation like NORSOK,API, ISA, ISO, ANSI, ASME, IEC, AGA, DNV and ABS guidelines.
- Working knowledge in the use of computer programs software like SPI, Window office, InstruCal
- Should be capable to maintain effective relationship with Client, contractors and vendors and a good coordinator, teamwork and leadership capabilities to coordinate and address properly all engineering activities in accordance with schedule requirements
