We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Corporate Strategy Lead. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our company and driving key initiatives that fuel our growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute the corporate strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the overall corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with Igloo's long-term vision and goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify growth initiatives: Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and product expansions. Assess the feasibility and impact of these initiatives, and develop implementation plans.
- Drive strategic projects: Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic projects, such as market entry strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Provide guidance, direction, and oversight to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate performance: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and success of strategic initiatives. Continuously monitor market dynamics and industry trends to refine strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and finance, to align strategies and drive cross-functional collaboration. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including partners and industry experts.
- Present strategic recommendations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership, board members, and other stakeholders to communicate strategic recommendations, insights, and progress updates.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a similar strategic role within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and market trends.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and drive actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Passion for innovation and disruption within the insurtech industry, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends.
