**What is this position about?** **What would your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?** Working on deliverables to support the execution of advisory transactions or marketing efforts **Primary Role Responsibilities** Provide support in the origination and execution of M&A, capital markets and acquisitions and generally advisory transactions in the sectors covered by the LCTG and ITE teams Preparation of presentation materials and delivery of pitches to clients/prospects for marketing purposes Development of various types of financial models for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions Execution of transactions under the day-to-day supervision of a Vice President or Associate Coordination with other Analysts or Interns to deliver work required **Other contributions** Keeping track of news and developments in relevant industries Effective use of information sources and research tools **What is required for you to succeed?** Technically strong in financial modelling, especially proficiency with Microsoft Excel and VBA macros Experience working on transactions in the LCGT and ITE sector(s) specifically in the Power and renewables, Metals and Mining, Infrastructure, Transportation & Logistics, and ideally as part of a sector team of reputable international investment banks Strong commitment and hard-working individual given nature of the industry Act with integrity and is a strong team player Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with client focused and commercial mind-set Proficiency in speaking and written English Proficiency in Mandarin or another South East Asian language **Required education/certification/licenses** Bachelor or Master Degree in Banking and Finance or the equivalent is preferable **About BNP PARIBAS** As the leading European Union bank, and one of the world’s largest financial institutions with an uninterrupted presence in the region since 1860, BNP Paribas offers a wide range of financial services for corporate, institutional and private investors spanning corporate and institutional banking, wealth management, asset management and insurance.
