Our client is a prominent player in the IT infrastructure business with operations across various parts of Asia. There is now a need to hire an experience senior finance professional to be part of this growing and exciting finance team.

**Responsibilities**:

- This role will be overseeing the accounting and controllership for the group and will have the support of the accounting team and the in-country finance team to deliver the responsibilities. This role will initially span across the APAC region but as the group grows, it could develop into a global portfolio.
- Reporting to the CFO, as the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for controlling and reviewing the content of the regional financial statements both at the consolidated and entity level, as well as support various financial matters within the APAC region.
- You will need a transversal understanding of the accounts prepared by and processes handled by the Accounting/ Finance Shared Services Centre (FSS) located in India (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Billing and Accounts Receivable and Collections).
- In addition, you will need to collaborate with the FSS team and various in country finance teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of deliverables.
- You will also oversee compliance and internal controls within the Region, including Real Estate Leases, Tax preparation and filings, internal controls applicable to the region and local financial and tax audits, if any.
- The scope includes managing the accounting of the growth within the region - either organic or through acquisition, with your mission being to ensure that each project is correctly planned and prepared from a financial point of view so that it can be executed in an orderly fashion by the FSS team.
- You will be the first point of contact for all queries coming from the business which refer to the FSS activity, and will work hand-to-hand with the Regional FP&A Partner and the M&A team when required to provide a comprehensive response from Finance within pre-agreed time frames and service levels.
- Some light Travel across the region is to be expected, dependent upon the projects encountered.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance is required, CPA a plus
- Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant Finance experience in a growing company, ideally in the datacentre space
- Proven experience in managing financial controlling functions
- Strong leadership and people skills. Track record in building and developing successful teams, knowing how to inspire teams to see the big picture and work together to achieve success.
- Possesses teamwork, communications and management skills needed for success in a rapidly growing, matrixed and changing organization.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal - a proven influencer of change.
- Ability to work effectively across functions/teams with a process culture
- Proven record of business support/ partnership a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $13,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
