**Overview**:
The Precinct venue of Singapore Sports Hub comprises of the outdoor spaces that connect the individual venues together, this includes several plazas and landscaped areas that are regularly activated for event purposes. Additionally, the venue acts as a support function / space for large-scale National Stadium events and as such the breadth of event operations within the Precinct is wide ranging. During non-event periods, the Precinct is a 24hour community facility open for use for exercising, socialising and lifestyle activities.

**General Roles & Responsibilities**
- Serve as a venue representative to hirers and assist hirers in execution of their events.
- Obtain, train, develop, schedule, supervise and evaluate required permanent, temporary and event support staff, i.e. new additions to the team, interns, ushers, CSOs and any other part timers, ensuring that they provide excellent service onsite.
- Coordinate logistic requirement with internal and external parties as well as relevant authorities including licensing authorities.
- To liaise and co-ordinate with hirers to establish and finalize their events’ needs and requirements.
- Prepare event checklists to coordinate supportive services required by hirers before, and during events.
- Develop and implement clear and accurate pre and post event reports.
- Improve and manage operational procedures, conduct surveys and make recommendations for improvement of services. Analyse problems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Use venue knowledge to ensure hirer’s event layout compiles with venue safety rules as well as suggesting innovative ways to improve their event layout / flow.
- Liaise and support Events Sales team on budgeting/billing.
- Liaise with partners to obtain correct information for facility maintenance/management and operational costs for event, sales team and hirer.
- Liaise with the FM to support maintenance/cleaning programmes at the venue.
- Work event days as required and ensure proper supervision of all events and activities scheduled at the Sports Hub.
- Support the ongoing updating and review of Precinct venue Handbook and associated documents e.g. Fact Sheets, Risk Assessments etc.
- Communicate closely with internal and external partners to ensure all needs have been considered when developing venue and event operations plans.
- Co-ordinate and supervise event day frontline staff as required, including giving briefings and producing briefing documents and presentations.
- To be a point of contact for hirers, clients, tenants, promoters and other stakeholders, always available to attend to their needs.
- Have an excellent knowledge of the venue and provide site information to clients, customers and staff as needed.
- Monitor venue performance and operations, produce reports as required by management or clients.
- Prepare documentation and information for staff, management, promoters and clients to enable them to effectively service all client groups entering the SSH.
- Support and deliver community sports and leisure programs and facilities when requested.
- Ensure that health and safety policies and regulations are adhered to and reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.

**Essential Job Functions, Personal Characteristics, Competencies and Behaviours**:

- Previous venue management or sport and leisure experience is considered an advantage.

- Uphold strong communications with the wider Sports Hub team and external partners.
- Collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders, such as events, marketing, sales and sports/community.
- Develop relationships and conduct regular interface hirers, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
- Support the planning, organizing and implementation of events from community to international sporting level.
- A keen eye for detail with an accompanying organised approach / focus.
- Handling enquiries from the public, clients, stakeholders and government.
- Liaising with community and industry bodies (including SPF, SCDF, schools, sports clubs and other community groups).
- Is a proactive team player and prepared to support the endeavours of the wider collective.
- Thinks laterally, sources creative solutions in the face of unique challenges in a high paced, dynamic and fast moving environment.
- Ability to express ideas clearly through both oral and written communication with strong attention to details.

**Qualifications**:
