About Kallang Alive Sport Precinct:
Under the ambit of Vision 2030, the national blueprint for sport, the development of the Kallang Alive sport precinct is envisioned as a destination where Singaporeans can participate in community sports activities while enjoying world-class entertainment and sporting action. In addition to the upcoming Kallang Football Hub and Singapore Tennis Centre, there are also plans for a Youth Hub that will house a velodrome and speed climbing facilities. The Kallang Theatre redeveloped will be into an integrated sport, entertainment and lifestyle centre and the Benaan Kapal Green will be revamped into a green community space.
**What you will be working on**
**Responsibilities**:
You will either be a member of the team or the team leader in guiding a team of colleagues in planning, formulating, reviewing, and managing venue operations in the delivery of major events at the Kallang Alive Sport Precinct.
Your job will include:
- Enhance the value proposition of the Kallang Alive Sport Precinct as a sporting destination for Singapore and the region
- Review overall business strategy and make recommendations to Management based evidence-based data
- Oversee the contractual delivery of the venue operations, which includes reviewing events and venue operations requirements in relation to other functional areas such as sales & marketing, health & safety, media & broadcast.
- Work closely with international, regional, and local sport industry partners in the successful delivery of local, regional and international events
- Identify and/or develop appropriate systems and processes to maintain world class venue operations
**What we are looking for**
**Requirements**:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
- At least 5 years of relevant and proven work experience in venue operations and event management, preferably in sports/community facilities.
- For the team leader role, at least 12 years of relevant cum leadership experience.
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis of venue-based business strategies
- Strong project and people management skills
- Passion for Sports
- Organised and resourceful
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environment
- Responsive and adaptive to possible deviations from project plans
- Innovative with an experimental mindset
- Attention to details
