The Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the Health and Social Sciences (HSS) Cluster under the Academic Programme Administration Division, and will provide administrative support to the Cluster and Division in the areas listed below.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate the administrative procedures in relation to Cluster’s Applied Research and students’ Honours Thesis matters;
- Support faculty members, students and external stakeholders as a key administrative liaison person;
- Participate in the review and improvement of academic work processes and systems, in line with the Cluster’s and Division’s strategic and operating plans, to increase efficiency for an effective administrative support;
- Manage and monitor operational budget relating to Honours Thesis projects expenditure and assets;
- Maintain a nimble database on student projects, faculty grants and publications and prepare reports as and when required;
- Serve as secretariat for meetings convened at Cluster/Programme/Committee level;
- Other Cluster, programme or division support assignments as and when required.

**Job **Requirements**
- A Degree from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning.
- Preferably with experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Familiarity with automation tools would be an advantage.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A highly motivated individual and a good team player.
