Execution Trader

Our client is a Financial Institution with offices in Europe and Singapore (Raffles place) and a strong reputation in securities dealing and lending. We are currently looking for an Execution Trader (Fixed Income) to join the team.

As a Trader, you will be working within a diverse and lively Dealing Room alongside 60 salespersons and traders across Europe and Singapore. You will be responsible for facilitating the buying and selling of fixed income instruments to existing counterparties whilst continuously acquiring new counterparties. This role will also require you to provide dynamic ideas to salespersons within the Dealing Room with regards to different fixed income instruments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generating trade ideas and providing pricing for clients within OTC markets
- Researching relevant market activity and monitoring financial developments relevant to customer and counterparty bases on a daily basis
- Maintaining effective relationships with counterparties by phone or face to face through regular meetings. Depending on geographical location of clients/counterparties, you may be required to travel overseas
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with internal traders and salespersons regarding clients investment criteria, quotes and market feasibilities whilst working under time pressures.
- Regular usage of Bloomberg terminal to keep abreast of market movements
- Attending the daily morning meeting between London and Singapore to productively discuss key recent market events, ideas, and select client business
- Ensure all transactions are undertaken in line with their Order Execution Policy
- Liaise with the Dealing Room Strategist to gain product knowledge, ideas and research where required
- If required, regularly attend internal 1:1 and group training sessions focusing on specific topics such as bonds, yield curves and optimal usage of the Bloomberg Terminal.
- Maintaining the CRM

**Education Specification**:

- Educated to degree level or above
- *CMFAS - Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (Modules 1B, 1A, 6A)

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
