Carousell is looking for a FP&A professional with a strong ability in driving strategic initiatives and influencing business stakeholders. This department casts a wide net across the organization and is recognized as a trusted advisor to both functional leaders and executives. Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fluid environment is key. Due to this role's wide scope and coverage, sheer tenacity, drive and a results-driven attitude is paramount to being successful. A mix of competencies is required; this person should be able to think strategically about business, have technical finance competencies, be an excellent communicator and demonstrate good leadership skill.

**You will**:

- Be part of a regional FP&A team, working closely with and supporting the FP&A managers
- Help prepare, review and analyse financial results and reports (revenue and cost)
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of key financial and business insights, to influence key stakeholders and to drive sound business decision making
- Provide support during the annual planning cycle as well as quarterly forecasts
- Highlight financial and operational gaps to plan, as well as opportunities to drive revenue and optimise cost
- Assist in driving process improvement and/or implementation of new systems and tools to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy in reporting

**You have**:

- Excellent academic credentials; relevant Finance certifications (CPA/CFA) will be a plus
- Be highly data-oriented and thorough in gathering raw business data, and exercise creativity in finding ways to structure it in a way that is usable for financial analysis
- Experience in creating dashboards and usage of BI tools (e.g. PowerBI) would be a strong plus
- Experience in e-commerce, SaaS/technology companies would be an advantage
