Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) is the trade and investment promotion agency for Flanders, the northern region of Belgium. Belgium is a key international economic player, consistently ranked among top 20 in the world for both exports and imports. Flanders is one of its three autonomous regions, with the city of Brussels as its capital. Flanders is also the main economic driver of the country. Our Singapore office, located within the Embassy of Belgium, is responsible for supporting trade relations between Flanders and the following countries in Southeast Asia: Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It also serves as the regional hub for Asia-Pacific.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Support the Trade and Investment Counsellor in activities promoting the internationalisation of Flanders-based companies and organisations, with a particular focus on the Indonesia market. This includes but is not limited to:

- Managing the CRM databases
- Business matching and professional partner search
- Assist in managing the budget of assigned event(s) Planning and organisation of events, including but not limited to trade show pavilions, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Coordination of activities with internal and external partners
- Research of market and sector information relevant to the existing economic climate or trends.

**Profile Requirements**

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Engineering or any similar fields
- At least 5 years of work experience
- Good administrative skills; excellent communication skills; strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Experience in an international environment
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Possess analytical skills and ability to identify market trends and challenges
- Some prior experience of working with Indonesian business stakeholders (e.g. government, industry associations, companies, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
