Senior HR Generalist

Mintable's on the search for an experienced Human Resource Generalist with prior experience in a start up environment to join our growing team. In this role, you will split your time performing two main activities (1) Day to day HR Administration & Operations (2) Periodically review and improve existing HR policies and frameworks

The goal of the People Team is to create a culture where Mintable is a great place to work at and ensure that there is growth progression for every individual (yourself included).

Working alongside the Head of People, you will be responsible for two key activities:
(1) Perform General HR administration and operations duties
- Ensuring the accuracy and data freshness of the HRIS system
- Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including; bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking annual/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, and benefit changes
- Prepare monthly & quarterly HR analytics and reporting
- Resolve inquiries from employees related to employment visas, benefits, policies and more
- Arrange employee engagement activities
- Organise training workshops for internal staffs
(2) Periodically review our HR policies and frameworks
- Work on special projects such as periodically reviewing the company's frameworks and provide optimisation or implementation suggestions to build a robust training and development, compensation and benefit structure etc
- Be a trusted partner amongst the colleagues to solicit feedback from the Team about HR initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
**Qualifications**

**To succeed in this role, we would love for you to have**:

- Proven 3 - 5+ years of experience in as a HR generalist in multiple functions such as learning and development, compensation and benefits, general administration with increasing levels of responsibility, ownership
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Empathy and a passion for wanting people to succeed in their roles
- A sense of humour to make work a fun place to be

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
