**Key Responsibilities** Objectives of this role**

**Responsibilities**
- Implement and support data platform, system, and data management projects
- Work collaboratively with relevant teams to define functional and technical requirements
- Translate business requirements and designs into technical implementations
- Streamline data pipelines, data structure and content, to add value to system capabilities
- Implement and maintain data warehouse and table schema
- Develop methods to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication

**Key Requirements** Required skills and qualifications**
- 5 or more years’ data engineering experience, with good knowledge of Python, Java and SQL
- Familiar with cloud computing platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure data engineering tools and services
- Experience in data lake and data warehouse pipelines
- Fluent in structured and unstructured data, database management and transformation methodologies
- Hands-on experience on big data framework like Spark for large-scale data processing
- Familiar with technical integrations using microservices, API, message queue, stream processing, etc.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipeline, Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

**Preferred skills and qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline
- Certifications on cloud technology and data engineering
- Aviation domain knowledge will be an added advantage
