**Job Summary**:
We are seeking passionate and ambitious individuals to join our team as a Management Trainee. This structured, hands-on program is designed to provide a 360-degree view of restaurant operations through job rotation across key front-of-house roles: Waitress, Receptionist, and Captain. The objective is to cultivate strong operational skills, customer service excellence, and leadership capabilities in preparation for a future managerial role within our organization.
Your roles and responsibilities are as follows as a **Waitress/Waiter**:
- Welcome customers as they come into the restaurant.
- Help customers to settle down and also take their orders.
- Provide answers to queries presented by customers regarding services and offers made available by the restaurant.
- Clean all tables after customers have left and get such tables prepared for the next set of clients.
- To deliver great and excellence customer service.
- Maintain quality, service & cleanliness at all times according to restaurant' standards.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Adhere to company’s standard operating procedures.
- Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Your roles and responsibilities are as follows as a **Receptionist**:
- Draw up customers bookings for tables and ensure that tables are set before customers' arrival.
- Manage the front desk by receiving incoming calls, greeting and attending to customers.
- Inform guests about the availability of tables and direct them to the tables.
- Keep records of guests who visit the restaurant.
- Assist customers with answers to queries, and proffer solutions to issues within your capacity.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff and the management to ensure that customer complaints are properly attended to in a timely manner.
- Ensure that customers make payment for services before they exit the restaurant.
- Keep clear records of payments received and make detailed notes of balance payments.
- Communicate with other staff, such as dinners, informing them of customers' bookings, needs and complaints.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Adhere to company’s standard operating procedures.
- Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Your roles and responsibilities are as follows as a **Captain**:
- Take reservations and enquire purpose of visit.
- Present menu and share promotions, specials, and items to customers.
- Take food and beverage orders, repeat orders to guests and inform guest of estimated time to serve.
- Oversee a team of servers who are assigned to his/her shift.
- Key orders in the Point-of-Sale system efficiently.
- Process payment and check bills promptly.
- Assist manager by getting involved in planning and organizing of special events.
- Check food and beverage inventories and stocks in a consistent and accurate manner.
- Complete opening, operating, and closing procedures.
- Handle problem with cashier payments.
- Escalate guests complain to duty manager if unable to conduct service recovery.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Adhere to company’s standard operating procedures.
- Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Job Requirements & Qualifications**:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field **(preferred)**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
