The Transport Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating freight transportation activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods. The role involves liaising with transport providers, clients, and internal teams to meet delivery schedules, optimize logistics operations, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Arrange for the pickup and delivery of goods while ensuring adherence to timelines & monitor the movement of freight to ensure on-time delivery and address any delays or disruptions.

2. Negotiate with transport service providers to secure favorable rates and terms.

3. Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and delivery notes.

4. Handle transportation issues such as delays, damage claims, or routing challenges efficiently.

Technical Skills and Competencies:
1. Proficient in route optimization and scheduling tools to plan efficient freight transportation.

2. Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with service providers to ensure long-term cooperation and reliability.

3. Ability to accurately prepare and verify essential shipping documents to ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.

4. Skilled in quickly identifying the root cause of transport issues and implementing effective solutions.
