a. Risk & Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA)
- Ensure that RCSA of the Business/Support Units is up-todate and complete the review of the RCSA on annual basis.
- Perform independent validation of RCSA on the selected Business/Support units. Follow up with respective officer on exceptions identified during the risk assessment review. recommend action plan for rectification.
- Ensure that Business/Support Units conduct the half-yearly control testing according to the schedule and table the results at the Committee meeting

b. Operational Risk Events
- Track and maintain the operational risk events reported by the Business/ Support units.
- Perform review of the risk events including the action taken and to submit the monthly report to Head Office. In addition, to prepare the half-yearly report on the operational risk events for submission of MAS610.

c. Outsourcing
- Review the new business proposal and ensure the proposal is in accordance to policy and procedures, complete with adequate supporting documents and properly cleared by the stakeholders.
- Track and maintain the register of outsourcing. Ensure annual review of the outsourced service provider is performed according to the schedule, complete with adequate supporting documents and properly approved.

d. Other risk areas
- Perform the independent validation of block discounting/ floor stock customers together with the Business Units and submit the report to Credit.
- Review and maintain complete listing of the policies and procedures manual and ensure that the documents are review on timely basis.
- Review of investment exception reports and ensure timely escalation of the investment suitability & accredited Investors exception and long outstanding unresolved exception.
- Review of critical spreadsheet
- Review on new product proposal or projects to assess on the risk assessment, process and controls.
- Monitor and track regulatory reporting deadlines
- Maintain, track and report the Complaint submitted by the Business/ Support units.
- Involve in the Business Continuity Management
- Prepare the relevant risk materials for various management meeting.
- Other tasks and projects assigned by Management from time to time.
