The Data and Analytics team is responsible for building data, data science and analytics as a core capability to help the business become data intelligent and drive business and organization performance. The team will deliver advanced products at scale and work closely with the market teams to ensure that decisions in Unilever are augmented with insight & recommendations wherever possible.

There are five major themes to the Data and Analytics strategy:- Winning disproportionately in Market. This is an exciting new role in the
_Data & Analytics_, which is tasked to deliver maximum value from data to drive business and organization performance.

The UNIOPS D&A CD Analytics Product group helps the global Unilever CD business win with data, data science, and analytics in a way that leverages the close engagement/ relationship with CD leadership supported by a data science hub team so that they can solve for both large transformation programs and near-term business problems.

JOB SUMMARY:
This role will focus on supporting a multi-functional team to develop and deploy, the algorithmic powered solution, Trade Promotion Analytics Suite of products (TPX) into Unilever markets. TPX is intended to help the business make more effective decisions in the in the areas of Net Revenue Management (NRM) and Promotion planning within the iOPS program. The role will be expected to blend the expertise of Product Management, Business Consultancy, Data Analysis and Business Intelligence to design, develop and govern the solutions. These prototypes if successful will be expected to be scaled where the Data Engineer will be expected to partner technical teams and cover the key aspects of data required to deliver information and analytics capabilities for Customer Development teams.

The role has three main responsibilities:
1. Design and govern new product features and/or logics to ensure product is future-proof and deployment is efficient as part of TPX product roadmap

2. Work with multiple internal and external teams to support the development and deployment of TPX into various markets as identified in iOPs market roadmap

3. Own and communicate information on product logics and relevant data sources from the global product design to support the configuration for market deployment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with senior leaders to understand business problems, design needs and deliver excellent analytical solutions to address Unilever’s trade spend challenges- Design and innovate at least 1-2 new features driven by global needs to ensure TPA continues to deliver value on evolving business needs- Review and share feedback on market initiated CRs to ensure alignment with the global product roadmap- Maintain and govern global product principles, integration design, logics and KPIs to support deployment managers in landing TPX product into the market- Recommend data logics and/or requirements for multi-platform integrations- Support the training and development of the product to other core teams’ members within the organization- Lead market engagement in translating global change request into analytics requirements and developing working prototypes for obtaining signing off for build

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Business Analytics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Econometrics, or Mathematics) is preferred- 3 years’ experience of working as a data engineer or business analyst is preferred- Experience deploying analytics product from design to business go-live is preferred-
