**Job Title**: FIU Analyst (Financial Intelligence Unit Analyst)

**Job Purpose**:The FIU Analyst is responsible for conducting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigations and providing support for day-to-day administrative duties. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and regional timelines while assisting in various aspects of the Financial Intelligence Unit's activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**AML Investigations**:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and regional timelines when conducting AML investigations and filing Suspicious Activity Reports in accordance with local requirements and regulations.
- Coordinate and respond to Production Orders/Requests from government agencies.
- Handle Requests for Information from various teams within Citi.
- Conduct name screening against relevant databases to identify potential risks.
- Maintain and update multiple FIU databases to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Manage administrative matters for the FIU team, including tracking and assigning cases.
- Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of metrics reports.
- Assist in ad-hoc administrative projects for the team as needed.

**Person Specification**

**Knowledge/Experience**: _Essential_
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
- Experience in Name Screening and Transaction Monitoring.
- Desirable_
- Familiarity with the financial industry and AML best practices.

**Skills: (Technical Skills)** _Essential_

**Qualifications**: _Essential_
- Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Desirable_
- Relevant certifications in AML or related fields.

- Ability to make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $5,400.00 per month
