Watch the video" **Responsibilities** You will be performing hands-on technical support duties in one or more manufacturing processes for Agilent's products (complex scientific instruments). - Build or assemble, pump down, commissioning, calibration, testing, troubleshoot, and repair for mechanical, electronics, and pneumatic components and systems of the product. - Diagnose, repair, and recommend root cause corrective action for defective and non-conforming materials, components, parts, or sub-assemblies. - Disassemble, reassemble, and change parts with precision and care, using a variety of hand tools. - Support the Engineering team in building and testing of activities for New Product Introduction. - Maintain, repair, or install workstation production equipment. - Works from guidelines and procedures/instructions. - Constantly strive for Continuous Improvement. - Adheres to and participate in workplace safety and housekeeping (5S) activities. - Higher Nitec / Nitec or Diploma equivalent education preferably in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Precision, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or any related Engineering / Science fields. - 2+ years' of relevant experience as an operator / technician in a manufacturing / production environment. - Experience / expertise in soldering would be a plus. - Team player with good communication skills in English. - Hands-on person with passion in overcoming tough engineering challenges. - Self-motivated independent worker. - Agilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
